Patrol Officer

The Patrol Officer is responsible for enforcing laws and ordinances, protecting life and property, and providing emergency services to the public.

• Perform routine patrol duties in assigned areas, responding to emergency calls and incidents.
• Conduct preliminary investigations, gather evidence, and interview witnesses.
• Exercise initiative and discretion in emergency situations, making sound judgments to ensure public safety.
• Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and community organizations to build trust and resolve conflicts.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on laws, procedures, and best practices.

• Florida Law Enforcement Certified or equivalent.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse communities.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to make sound judgments in high-pressure situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
