Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at UW Health University Hospital. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging examinations and procedures utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality MRI scans and procedures, ensuring accurate and efficient results.
  • Work collaboratively with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to prioritize and organize schedules and triage routine and emergent procedures.
  • Participate in the maintenance and repair of imaging equipment, as well as quality assurance and image processing.
  • Provide instruction and training to fellows, residents, physicians, and visiting healthcare professionals.
  • Contribute to clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Minimum of two years of clinical experience in MRI or related field.
  • GE experience required.
  • Prior traveling experience highly preferred.
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
Schedule and Work Environment
  • Travelers are the first to float and may have shifts scheduled in multiple units.
  • Shifts will be re-assigned to another unit if the primary unit no longer has a need.
  • UW Health is a dynamic and fast-paced environment, requiring flexibility and adaptability.
Additional Information
  • UW Health is transitioning to digital file formats for Microsoft applications.
