What to expect in your role as a Surgical Registered Veterinary Technician:
Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional anesthesia care and preparing patients for surgical interventions.
In addition to procedural responsibilities, you will engage with clients and the veterinary community while supporting the surgical team through meticulous instrument preparation and maintaining precise medical documentation.
You'll encounter diverse and challenging cases, with access to resources that promote optimal patient outcomes.
- Work Schedule: The surgical team operates on a 3/12 hour shift model, including rotational weekend duties. (Weekday shifts may vary, but schedules are established in advance and organized quarterly.)

Requirements:
- Minimum of two years' experience in a veterinary surgical setting (preferred) or two years in a veterinary specialty department
- Credentialed Technician in good standing in your current state, eligible for registration transfer
- Commitment to high standards of anesthesia and patient care
- A proactive and inquisitive mindset
- Willingness to collaborate with teams across the organization
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to swiftly assess and respond to urgent medical situations
- Capacity to stand for extended periods with limited breaks
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs. independently
