Key Responsibilities:
As a Door Attendant/Driver, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.
Your duties will include:
- Welcoming and assisting hotel guests during their arrival and departure with professionalism and courtesy.
- Safely transporting guests to various destinations, including the hotel, shopping areas, or other locations as required.
- Assisting guests at the hotel entrance by opening doors, handling luggage, and guiding them to the front desk for check-in.
- Hailing and dispatching taxis for guests upon request.- Providing accurate information and directions about the hotel and surrounding areas.
- Monitoring the entrance for any unusual activity.
- Communicating effectively with colleagues and supervisors to address any concerns.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the work area and assisting with general upkeep.
- Performing vehicle inspections and ensuring the cleanliness of transportation vehicles.
- Upholding punctuality and uniform standards at all times.
- Assisting guests with their luggage and travel needs as necessary.
- Supporting the Facility Manager with additional tasks as required.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:
Availability:
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is essential.
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a high school education or equivalent experience is preferred. Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is advantageous.
Licensing:
A valid state-issued driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Familiarity with the local area is beneficial.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal, are necessary.
- Basic mathematical skills for handling transactions and providing change.
- Ability to apply common sense and sound judgment in various situations.
Physical Requirements:
This position involves standing, walking, and interacting with guests in a variety of environments. Reasonable accommodations will be made for individuals with disabilities.
