Position Overview:

The Registered Nurse in the Medical Surgical Unit at ATC Healthcare Services will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care within a vibrant and challenging setting. This position demands a dedicated and empathetic professional who is committed to enhancing the health and recovery of patients facing a variety of medical challenges.


Compensation and Benefits:

The Registered Nurse will earn a competitive hourly wage ranging from $52 to $54, with weekly payment options. In addition to a robust salary, the role includes a comprehensive benefits package featuring medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, a 401K plan, and opportunities for professional growth.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and formulate tailored care strategies.
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments effectively.
  • Continuously monitor and document vital signs and patient progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education to patients and their families regarding medical conditions and treatment protocols.
  • Assist in medical procedures and surgical interventions as required.
  • Maintain meticulous and current patient documentation.
  • React promptly and calmly to emergency situations.
  • Comply with all healthcare regulations and institutional policies.

Qualifications:
  • Active RN license in Pennsylvania.
  • At least one year of experience in a Medical Surgical nursing role.
  • BLS certification is mandatory; ACLS certification is preferred.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and clinical procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Physical ability to assist and transport patients as necessary.
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
