Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Obtain a comprehensive medical history and perform a thorough physical examination on patients.
- Review medical records and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
- Establish a presumptive diagnosis and order laboratory and diagnostic procedures as needed.
- Develop a treatment plan for patients and administer injections, immunizations, and oral medications.
- Suture wounds and prepare written prescription orders for drugs and controlled substances.
- Educate patients and family members regarding medications and treatment instructions.
- Provide recommendations for health and illness prevention and recommend community resources to meet patient needs.
- Perform independent evaluations and treatment procedures in emergency situations and provide monitoring and continuity of care between physician visits.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- At least 3-5 years of primary care practice experience.
