Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant or LPN to join our team at Altamaha Primary Care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our medical staff.

Responsibilities

  • Provide routine administrative and clinical support to our medical staff, including handling patient records, scheduling appointments, and performing various clinical tasks.
  • Assist with phlebotomy, vital signs, and other clinical procedures as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with our healthcare team to ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant or LPN.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
  • Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records (EMRs).
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
