Job Summary:
LocumTenens is seeking a skilled Pediatric Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a health system. The ideal candidate will have expertise in pediatric imaging and neuroradiology, with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of imaging types, including abdominal, cardiothoracic, neuroradiology, emergency radiology, and ultrasound
- Collaborate with a second pediatric reader to manage a high-volume caseload
- Develop and implement imaging protocols to ensure high-quality patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Radiology
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Work Schedule:
The position involves working Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with no on-call duties. The role requires being onsite one to two weeks per month.
