Electrical Assembler Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Assembler to join our team at Kelly. As an Electrical Assembler, you will be responsible for assembling electrical components and wiring equipment using various tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electrical components and wiring equipment using tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, soldering irons, splicing tools, crimping tools, etc.
  • Accurately and efficiently interpret assembly and sub-assembly drawings and sketches.
  • Maintain good housekeeping of your individual work area.
  • Maintain a daily time log of work done on manufacturing and/or production travelers.
  • Perform other assignments as assigned by immediate and/or higher supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Have experience in the assembly of industrial electrical components, wiring of instruments and units, and the use of all equipment associated with the satisfactory performance of duties.
  • Be able to produce high-quality products and expected quantities in an efficient amount of time.
  • Have the ability to move safely over uneven terrain as well as restricted spaces.
  • Be able to climb ladders while carrying up to 50 lbs.
  • Be able to kneel, bend, and stand for long periods.
  • Be able to work in and around areas with limited space.
  • Be available to work first shift (Monday through Friday, 6:30 am to 3:00 pm).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Ability to use, read, and interpret drawings, measuring scale and tape proficiency.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a team or solo environment.
  • Familiarity with tablets and computers.
Education:

High school diploma or equivalent.
