Staff Accountant

We are a dynamic and global company seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting department. As a key member of our team, you will provide organized and professional services for full cycle accounting, supporting the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • General Ledger postings, fixed assets, depreciation, cost-center allocations, prepaid expenses, and accrued liabilities support
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and transactional review support
  • Assist in monthly close process and financial statement preparation
  • Support audit preparation and responses
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Process corporate AR transactions, including invoicing and payment applications
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly GL, AR, and Cash reporting
  • Monitor and maintain integrity of the GL accounting system, specifically the chart of accounts and subaccount list
  • Correspond with banks and other agencies for issue resolution and responses to inquiries
  • Update and maintain policies & procedure documentation
  • Meet contractual commitments to clients through timely and accurate reporting and issue resolution
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field of study
  • One to three years of related experience preferred
  • Effective decision maker
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral
  • Critical thinking ability
  • Responsible and analytical bent of mind
  • Exceptional mathematical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
