Key Responsibilities
  • Administer medications to residents according to physician orders, adhering to established protocols.
  • Provide personal care services to residents, including bathing, feeding, toileting, and repositioning/transferring.
  • Collect vital signs and specimens, assessing resident functionality, and reporting to the nurse in charge.
  • Maintain accurate records of medication administration in the MAR.
  • Cleanliness and maintenance standards are essential in ensuring a safe environment.
  • Foster a positive dining experience by serving meals according to daily needs.
Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification as a Certified Medication Aide (CMA) from the South Dakota Board of Nursing.
  • At least one year of relevant experience.
