Job Title: Computed Tomography Technologist

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at a nationally recognized hospital in Elmhurst, NY.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for operating computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes. This is a full-time contract position requiring 2+ years of recent experience in CT work.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans, including positioning and instructing them on the scanning process.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records of patient information, scan results, and other relevant data.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques to provide the highest level of patient care.
Requirements:
  • Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
  • 2+ years' experience in CT work
  • An active, current state license
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS for Healthcare Providers
  • Additional certifications may be required
