Summary

ASM Global is currently seeking a dedicated Part-Time Bartender for our venue. This role is essential for ensuring the precise service and management of all transactions involving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, alongside maintaining inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accurately tracks all cash and inventory at the designated bar area.
  • Completes assigned tasks as directed by management.
  • Ensures a safe and hygienic work environment for all staff.
  • Anticipates daily sales trends based on historical data.
  • Prepares for busy service periods and communicates change needs to the Bar Manager.
  • Organizes all necessary documentation for cash handling duties:
    • Inventory tracking sheets
    • Cash transaction slips
    • Confirms pricing accuracy against the beverage menu.
  • Adheres to strict cash handling protocols consistently.
  • Performs assigned duties as required.
  • Complies with all Food and Beverage regulations.
  • Completes additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old (where applicable).
  • Basic understanding of cash handling processes is required.
  • Ability to perform basic math functions for cash transactions.
  • Familiarity with concession or cafeteria operations is preferred.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and execute tasks effectively.
Work Hours and Travel
  • Schedule varies based on events, including days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends.
Physical Requirements
  • The physical demands listed are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for up to 5 hours.
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and occasionally lift up to 35 lbs.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in the primary language(s) spoken in the area.
