Job Overview:
As a Senior Information Security Assurance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and maintaining the security posture of our organization. Your expertise will guide the development and enforcement of security protocols that protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and uphold enterprise-level information assurance and security protocols.
- Design and execute comprehensive information assurance/security standards and procedures.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to assess and enhance security programs tailored to organizational needs.
- Identify, document, and address security breaches and vulnerabilities.
- Set and fulfill information assurance and security criteria based on user, policy, regulatory, and resource analysis.
- Advise clients on the formulation and execution of security policies and strategies.
- Apply security expertise to both government and commercial systems, including specialized environments requiring advanced security measures.
- Conduct thorough analysis, design, and development of security features within system architectures.
- Evaluate and specify security requirements for various computing systems, including mainframes and personal devices.
- Engineer and implement security solutions that align with established requirements.
- Facilitate the integration and deployment of comprehensive computer system security solutions.
- Provide technical support and engineering insights to resolve information assurance-related challenges.
- Conduct vulnerability and risk assessments throughout the system development lifecycle.
- Ensure operational integrity and security of all information systems.
Essential Skills:
- Proven experience in developing and refining information security policies and requirements (16 years required).
- Expertise in conducting vulnerability and risk assessments for computer systems and applications (16 years required).
- Demonstrated ability to identify, report, and rectify security violations (16 years required).
- Experience managing complex enterprise-level projects.
- Deep understanding of Windows server operating systems.
- Knowledge of on-premises and cloud security solutions, along with IP network security.
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting NetApp SAN environments.
- Hands-on experience with storage management on VMware ESXi.
- Solid understanding of server and endpoint operating systems.
- Experience troubleshooting Windows 2016 Active Directory Enterprise.
- In-depth knowledge of disaster recovery and avoidance strategies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure (highly desired).
- Comprehensive understanding of SAN replication and disaster recovery processes (highly desired).
- Experience with VMware Site Recovery Manager (highly desired).
- Strong troubleshooting skills in IT infrastructure (highly desired).
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field (required).
- Master's degree in IT or a related field (highly desired).
- Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or CEH (required).
