About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Raleigh-Durham, NC. This is a full-time, onsite position offering the opportunity to work on a dynamic team where you will help support, improve, and automate our infrastructure and development processes. You will collaborate with senior engineers and development teams to deploy and maintain critical systems, ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the management, configuration, and automation of cloud-based infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Support Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, working to automate code deployment and infrastructure provisioning.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and work to improve the reliability of the infrastructure.
Help in managing configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, or similar).
Contribute to infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
Provide support for containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
Assist with server administration and ensure high availability of development, testing, and production environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support development cycles, security, and scalability.


Qualifications:

1.5+ years of hands-on experience in a DevOps role or similar technical position.
Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, etc.).
Basic knowledge of infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Familiarity with Linux-based systems and server administration.
Experience with scripting languages (Bash, Python, or similar).
Some experience with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
A team player with a willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred

Qualifications:

Experience with version control systems like Git.
Familiarity with monitoring and alerting tools (Prometheus, Grafana, or similar).
Basic understanding of networking, firewalls, and security best practices.
Experience working with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
