Job Title: Speech Pathologist

Winslow Unified School District 1 is seeking a highly skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Speech Pathologist to provide individualized speech therapy services to students with speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in speech therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with students, parents, and school staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer individualized tests to referred students and conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech and language needs.
  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans to meet the needs of assigned students.
  • Provide speech therapy services to assigned students, including individual and group sessions.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to ensure effective communication and support for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and other educational conferences to ensure that students receive the support they need to succeed.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • Master's degree in Speech Therapy from a regionally accredited college or university preferred.
  • Valid Arizona Speech and Language Therapy Certification.
  • Experience as a speech therapist preferred.
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a work year to be established by the Board. Salary is determined by individual training and experience level on approved salary schedule.
