We're seeking an Enterprise Sales Specialist to join our team at Esri. In this role, you'll work closely with our tribal customers to help them maximize their use of Esri technology and drive business growth.
Your key responsibilities will include maintaining a healthy pipeline of business growth opportunities, leveraging social media and other channels to build your professional network, and participating in trade shows, workshops, and seminars to stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
You'll also demonstrate your understanding of industry knowledge and its relevance to the application of GIS technology, understand customer budgeting and acquisition processes, and successfully execute the account management and sales processes for all opportunities.
To be successful in this role, you'll need experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers, as well as knowledge of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation.
This role requires a strong understanding of the tribal organizations (governments, commercial enterprises) and new technology trends, as well as the ability to translate this into solutions for customers. You'll also need to be able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization.
Key Requirements- 5+ years of enterprise sales and/or relevant consulting or program management experience
- 3+ years of experience working in or supporting the federal government
- Experience creating partnerships and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor with customers
- Understanding of account management, account planning, and opportunity strategy creation
- Demonstrated knowledge of the tribal organizations (governments, commercial enterprises) and new technology trends and the ability to translate this into solutions for customers
- Able to negotiate, present, and support visual storytelling across all levels of an organization
- Ability to travel domestically or internationally 25-50% of the time
- Bachelor's in GIS, business administration, or a related field
- Understanding of GIS, Esri technology, and tribal lines of business as they relate to one another
- Experience managing the sales cycle
- General knowledge of data science or spatial analysis and how it is used for problem solving and uncovering patterns and trends within organizations
- Understands sensitivities of underserved communities and diverse cultures
