Position Overview:

The Environmental Services Associate plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, visitors, and staff. This position is PRN/OCC, with hours and shifts that may vary.

Availability to work every other weekend and on holidays is required.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct cleaning operations in designated areas according to established schedules and protocols.
  • Assist in the management of emergency spills as needed.
  • Perform routine checks on assigned equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
  • Report any necessary repairs for equipment, furnishings, and facilities.
  • Handle waste and soiled linens properly, adhering to biohazardous waste protocols.
  • Monitor supply levels and notify supervisors when additional supplies are required.
  • Conduct personal inspections of all completed tasks and assigned areas.
  • Adhere to all safety standards and policies, completing required training annually.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education: No formal education is specified; however, a combination of education and/or relevant work experience is acceptable. Preference may be given to candidates with a high school diploma or GED.

Experience: No prior experience is required.

Licensure: No specific licensure is required.
