Job Summary

We are seeking a Florida-licensed CT/MRI Technologist to join our team on a full-time/part-time/PRN/per diem/as-needed basis.

Responsibilities:

  • Select and operate technical factors for diagnostic imaging examinations in a caring, compassionate, and respectful manner.
  • Maintain thorough operational knowledge of the MRI scanner, contrast media administration equipment, resuscitation devices, laser cameras, and teleradiology systems.
  • Assist with patient positioning, preparation, and transfers as needed while ensuring modesty and safety.
  • Document all pertinent clinical information prior to exams, obtain informed consent, and complete required fields accurately within MEDITECH.
  • Obtain high-quality diagnostic images, ensuring only optimal submissions for radiologist interpretation.
  • Remain proficient in executing software protocols and staying updated with field changes through in-service studies, courses, or seminars.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and other healthcare professionals to include radiologists.
  • Conduct routine equipment checks, maintain cleanliness of the scanning area, and keep supplies stocked.
  • Accept on-call and call-back responsibilities as necessary to provide optimal patient care.
Qualifications:
  • Basic Life Support Certification
  • Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
  • Associate Degree
  • State Registered Radiologic Technologist or Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist
