Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Economics Instructor to join our team at GeorgiaGov. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Economics courses in a classroom/lab/field environment, preparing lesson plans, and evaluating student progress.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and deliver lectures, discussions, and other instructional activities to students
  • Develop and implement course syllabi, lesson plans, and assessments
  • Evaluate student progress and provide feedback
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Economics and incorporate relevant topics into course materials
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Economics or a related field from an accredited institution
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong computer skills and ability to interact effectively with a diverse student population
Preferred Qualifications
  • PhD in Economics
  • Teaching experience at the postsecondary level
  • Experience teaching in an online or hybrid environment
