Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare a diverse range of food items using various cooking techniques such as broiling, grilling, frying, and sautéing.
  • Take full accountability for the quality of all food products served.
  • Consistently adhere to established portion sizes, cooking methods, and quality standards.
  • Maintain adequate stock levels of food products at workstations to facilitate smooth service.
  • Portion food items accurately prior to cooking in accordance with recipe specifications.
  • Ensure a clean and sanitary workspace, including all kitchen equipment and surfaces.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking by portioning, seasoning, and marinating as required.
  • Follow proper presentation guidelines for all dishes, ensuring visual appeal.
  • Handle and store all food products safely and in compliance with health regulations.
  • Assist with food preparation tasks during slower periods as necessary.
  • Properly close the kitchen at the end of service, following established protocols.
  • Participate in scheduled team meetings and contribute ideas for operational improvements.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the culinary leadership.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in food preparation and cooking.
  • At least 6 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Effective communication skills with team members and management.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work in a standing position for extended periods.
