Rheumatology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Rheumatology Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Bendcare, LLC in Peachtree City-Tyrone, GA. Our care center is dedicated to providing high-quality care to patients with autoimmune and arthritic diseases.

• Examine patients and their medical records to diagnose and propose treatments for autoimmune and arthritic diseases.
• Order and study diagnostic tests, such as blood tests and X-rays, to inform treatment decisions.
• Prescribe medications and IV infusion treatments to manage patient conditions.
• Maintain accurate records and schedules to ensure seamless patient care.
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications to promote patient education and empowerment.
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases and treatment plans to foster a collaborative care approach.
• Oversee patients' overall health and well-being to ensure comprehensive care.
• Promote good health practices and advance professional knowledge through research and continuing education.
• Collaborate with our physician to ensure high-quality patient care and address any concerns or questions.

• New grads or experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, or Primary Care preferred.
• Bilingual - English and Spanish a plus.
• Knowledge of health and patient care regulations.
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
• Strong ethics, integrity, and reliability.
• Team player with a positive attitude, patience, and optimism.
• Exhibits curiosity and a willingness to learn.
• Valid Georgia Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license.
