Job Summary

As a Mammography Technologist at Roper St. Francis Healthcare, you will perform procedures for the direct results of interpretation under the medical supervision of Certified Radiologists. You will assist Radiologists on procedures as needed and be responsible for supervising student Radiologic Technologists assigned to you. You will also be expected to maintain good customer relations and have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Perform mammography procedures for diagnostic purposes
  • Assist Radiologists on procedures as needed
  • Supervise student Radiologic Technologists
  • Maintain good customer relations
  • Have strong interpersonal and communication skills
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals
  • At least 6 months experience in radiologic technology
  • Completion of 40 hours Mammography training
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology and Mammography
  • Current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card
  • Certified or documentation that certification has been applied for with the SCRQSA
