Salary
$26 - $36 per hour, with the potential to earn up to $10,000 sign-on bonus (some exclusions may apply)
About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GSS SD Sf Vlg in Sioux Falls, SD. As an LPN, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care settings, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Your primary responsibilities will include assessing resident needs, administering medications and treatments, documenting interactions and outcomes, and maintaining effective working relationships with healthcare professionals and residents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong foundation in nursing principles, with the ability to demonstrate knowledge and skills in a variety of clinical settings. Additionally, you should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. If the position requires IV therapy/management skills, you must have graduated from a Board-approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completed an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.
You must hold an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with the State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges. You must also obtain and maintain required department-specific competencies and certifications, as well as complete required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements.
