In this role, you will engage in various activities and complete all necessary training, including:

  • Receiving hands-on training at various stations

  • Greeting guests upon entry and thanking them upon exit
  • Staying informed about current promotions
  • Explaining menu items, addressing inquiries, and suggesting additional options
  • Representing the Zaxby's brand with enthusiasm
  • Accurately processing orders and guest transactions
  • Entering guest orders into the point of sale system with precision
  • Handling payments, operating cash registers, and maintaining transaction records
  • Managing cash payments, verifying tills, and recording totals accurately
  • Ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment
  • Maintaining cleanliness in guest areas, including dining rooms, counters, restrooms, and exterior
  • Keeping equipment in good condition and notifying management of maintenance needs
  • Restocking supplies such as paper goods, condiments, and beverages
  • Organizing and cleaning work areas
  • Accurately preparing, packaging, and presenting guest orders
  • Completing other assigned tasks as needed

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
  • Occasional bending, stooping, crouching, or climbing, including ladder use
  • Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying up to 50 pounds, including overhead lifting
  • Continuous use of hands and wrists for grasping and fine motor tasks
  • Effective communication skills in speech, reading, and writing
  • Ability to maintain effective audio-visual perception and judgment to respond to the environment
  • Willingness to work in environments with varying temperatures and potential exposure to food allergens
  • Safe operation of restaurant equipment, including knives and fryers
