Capital Health Nocturnist Opportunity

Capital Health is seeking a highly skilled Nocturnist to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As a Nocturnist, you will play a critical role in providing comprehensive medical care to patients while working independently and collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Patient Care: Examine, diagnose, and treat hospitalized patients, utilizing strong diagnostic, assessment, and treatment skills.
- Coordinate Patient Care: Coordinate all aspects of care for hospitalized medical patients, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal outcomes.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team, including nurses, therapists, and other physicians, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Manage Patient Flow: Manage patient flow, including admissions, discharges, and transfers, to optimize hospital efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, including data analysis, process improvement, and education, to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Lead and Mentor: Lead and mentor residents and allied health providers, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient care and professional development.
- Education and Experience: MD/DO degree, NJ & PA licenses, board certification from the American Board of Medical Specialties in Family or Internal Medicine, or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Skills and Qualities: Strong communication skills, highly organized, highly productive, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Frequent Physical Demands: Standing, walking, bending, reaching forward, wrist position deviation, pinching/fine motor activities, keyboard use/repetitive motion.
- Occasional Physical Demands: Sitting, climbing (e.g., stairs or ladders), carry objects, push/pull, twisting, reaching overhead, squat/kneel/crawl, taste or smell.
- Continuous Physical Demands: Talk or hear.
- Sensory Requirements: Accurate near vision, accurate far vision, accurate color discrimination, accurate depth perception, accurate hearing.
