Career Opportunity: Clinical Laboratory Assistant

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform phlebotomy procedures, blood processing, and obtain lab results from reference laboratories.
  • Assist with andrology-related duties and maintain computer-generated logs and reports for patient testing and billing.
  • Provide phlebotomy services to clinical laboratory patients according to CCRM protocols.
  • Confirm patient insurance information and ensure use of contracted reference laboratory when appropriate.
  • Maintain sanitary work environment and follow bloodborne pathogen handling and disposal procedures per OSHA guidelines.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Phlebotomy Certificate Required.
  • Minimum of 200 documented, successful blood draws is required.
  • Working knowledge of laboratory software.
  • Able to collect payment for services rendered.

This role operates in a professional office, clinical, and/or laboratory setting. Compensation:

The salary range represents the national average compensation for this position. The base salary offered will vary based on location, experience, skills, and knowledge. The pay range does not reflect the total compensation package. Our rewards may include an annual bonus, flexible work arrangements, and many other region-specific benefits.
