We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team, where you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within the scope of practice, utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
- Direct and guide patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel, while maintaining standards of professional nursing care in Telemetry.
- Communicate effectively with physicians and other healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Current PALS certificate and/or ENPC 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
- Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.
- Minimum of one year experience as a staff nurse RN in an acute care hospital setting; E.R. setting preferred.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
