Job Title: Laborer

Cumberland River Quarries is seeking a skilled Laborer to join our team in Salem, Kentucky. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to the operation of heavy equipment and the maintenance of our quarry site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment such as haul trucks, water trucks, skid steers, backhoes, and man lifts.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on equipment and machinery.
  • Assist in the inspection and maintenance of the scalping plant and wash plant.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety standards and operating procedures.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and communicate with colleagues and supervisors.
Requirements:
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts and flexible scheduling.
  • Willingness to work in inclement weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
