Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Neurologist Physician to join our team at University of Maryland Medical System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and delivering high-quality neurological services across various settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive neurological care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and management of neurological disorders.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Participate in quality assurance programs to maintain and improve patient care standards.
- Supervise administrative responsibilities of non-physician employees and ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement budgets to meet departmental needs and ensure effective resource allocation.
- Apply and foster personal tact and diplomacy to promote positive patient relations and a positive image.
- Participate in practice and group development activities to increase visibility and improve patient satisfaction.
Requirements
- Current license to practice medicine in the State of Maryland.
- Board Certification within practicing specialty.
- Current DEA or similar Narcotics and Controlled Substances Certification.
- Appropriate clinical privileges at a minimum of one UMMS affiliated acute care facility.
- Meeting minimum CME requirements for licensure and board certification.
