This position emphasizes a deep understanding of business requirements and contributes to the formulation of strategies and financial models that align with organizational goals. The analyst will collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to devise solutions, establish performance metrics, and enhance internal processes to ensure thorough due diligence in business decisions.

About Chick-fil-A Supply and Bay Center Foods

As wholly owned subsidiaries of Chick-fil-A, Inc., Chick-fil-A Supply specializes in distribution services tailored to meet the unique demands of Chick-fil-A restaurants, while Bay Center Foods operates a manufacturing facility primarily focused on lemon juice production and other innovations aimed at simplifying operations for the restaurants. This role will lead financial planning and analysis (FP&A) across our expanding network.

Given the consistent growth in sales and volume, coupled with the complexities faced by our restaurants, VBLs are dedicated to supporting current and future restaurant needs through innovative distribution solutions that embody the Chick-fil-A culture of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the financial performance of the VBLs, emphasizing stewardship and return on investment.
  • Manage site Profit and Loss statements, ensuring alignment with the parent entity's financials in collaboration with Corporate Financial Reporting.
  • Guarantee compliance with all financial and regulatory standards for each location.
  • Collaborate with the shared services team of parent organizations to provide financial support for the entities.
  • Direct financial management efforts with a focus on the sustainability of both the entity and the broader enterprise.
  • Conduct analyses to support FP&A for multiple distribution centers and manufacturing plants.
  • Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of the financial model for our multi-site network.
  • Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of financial reports, variance analyses, and other supplementary documents.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the primary operational drivers and their influence on financial performance.
  • Coordinate financial control self-assessments and self-audits, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Create and present financial analyses, reports, and presentations to senior leadership to facilitate decision-making regarding new investments or initiatives.
  • Engage cross-functionally to gather insights on upcoming projects, future budgetary requirements, and variance analysis commentary.
  • Work with the Corporate Financial Reporting team to maintain and update the chart of accounts and expense mapping as business needs evolve.
  • Assist in the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes for multiple centers.
  • Identify significant business trends through benchmarking, KPI tracking, and analysis.
  • Partner with facility operations to provide analytical support for major capital investments.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or a related business field.
  • A minimum of 4 years of relevant business experience.
  • Exceptional business communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in FP&A within a multi-location organization.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and FP&A software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.
  • MBA degree.

Travel Requirements

10% travel may be required.

Bachelor's Degree in Finance or a related business field.
