Job SummaryWe are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist to join our team. As a Physical Therapist at JAG, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to our mission of delivering high-quality care.
Responsibilities- Collect and record patient care data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory agencies and third-party payers.
- Prepare for evaluations, obtaining patient history and researching unfamiliar diagnoses.
- Identify need for consultations and/or referrals to other healthcare professionals or services.
- Provide education and training to patients and their support systems.
- Develop and implement treatment plans, including exercise prescription and modalities.
- Oversee support staff, including PTA, ATC, and PT aides.
- Attend annual JAG Billing and Coding seminar.
- Promote JAG in the community through lectures and presentations.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy required; Doctorate degree preferred.
- Licensed Physical Therapist in the state practicing in.
- Completed state-regulated CEU requirements in the appropriate state (NY, NJ).
- Valid CPR License.
- Experience/knowledge with EMR software preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent work ethic and dedication to patient success.
- Basic computer skills.
- Ability to work as a team member and individually with minimal supervision.
