The Oven/Blast Operator is a critical member of our production team, responsible for operating, monitoring, and documenting all phases of the oven/blast system. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate and Monitor Oven/Blast System: Consistently and accurately maintain HACCP records, observe equipment operation, and notify appropriate personnel of any malfunctions or safety issues.
• Load and Unload Ovens/Blasts: Load ovens/blast correctly according to Process Control procedures, move racks to and from ovens/blasts, and clean ovens/blast periodically.
• Basic Computer Skills: Perform mathematical and time calculations, and have the ability to train on alternate shifts and work weekends.
• Independent Thinking and Problem-Solving: Work with limited direction from supervision, take initiative to correct or solve problems, and have a sincere desire to learn new tasks and skills.
• Dependability and Integrity: Maintain punctual and regular attendance, adhere to all USDA and GMP product standards and guidelines, and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Communication and Teamwork: Communicate effectively with colleagues, follow verbal and written instructions, and work effectively in a team environment.
• Physical Requirements: Stand for extended periods, lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work in a damp and cold environment, with loud and noisy machinery, and in a dusty environment when using spice. May work with raw meat and in congested areas.
