We are seeking an AI Systems Infrastructure Specialist to contribute to the development of advanced machine learning infrastructure at Moveworks. This position is essential for constructing, refining, and scaling comprehensive machine learning systems. The ML infrastructure team undertakes a diverse range of tasks, including distributed training and inference pipelines for large language models (LLMs), model assessment and monitoring frameworks, optimization of LLM and ML micro-services, and data annotation infrastructure. These frameworks form a robust foundation for our numerous ML and NLP models in operation, catering to millions of enterprise employees. We are addressing various challenges related to service scalability and core algorithm optimization.
In this position, you will collaborate closely with our machine learning team, data infrastructure team, and other core skill sets. Your contributions will significantly influence how our customers engage with AI. In essence, this role is vital for the long-term scalability of our primary AI product and the overall success of the company. You will be tasked with constructing and operationalizing ML infrastructure that supports state-of-the-art models. Your Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and enhance scalable machine learning infrastructure to facilitate the training, evaluation, and deployment of large language models.
- Create abstractions to automate various stages in diverse ML workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of engineers, data analysts, machine learning specialists, and product managers to develop new features.
- Utilize your expertise to promote best practices in machine learning and data engineering.
Your Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in Machine Learning, Infrastructure, or related domains.
- Experience in constructing end-to-end machine learning systems.
- Proficiency in developing scalable microservices and ETL pipelines.
- Expertise in Python and familiarity with high-performance languages such as C++ or GoLang.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or Hugging Face.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- A passion for research publications in the machine learning and software engineering fields.
- Strong communication skills with a proven track record of cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ML inference frameworks such as FastTransformers or Nvidia Triton.
- Familiarity with distributed training frameworks like Deepspeed.
- Experience in managing and scaling GPU inference services using Kubernetes.
Compensation: $129,000 - $257,000
*Our total compensation package includes a competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions or bonus plans. Final offers may vary based on geography, role scope and complexity, candidate experience and expertise, and other factors.
