Position Overview:

The Kitchen Steward is crucial in upholding the cleanliness of the kitchen, assisting in food preparation, and ensuring organization. Key responsibilities encompass washing utensils, maintaining tidy work areas, aiding in food storage, and adhering to sanitation protocols.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare daily workstations and assist in ingredient preparation
  • Operate dishwashing equipment and ensure cleanliness
  • Manage food waste disposal and maintain kitchen hygiene
  • Prepare and organize food items in accordance with quality standards
  • Assist in the receipt of kitchen supplies and goods
  • Communicate effectively with chefs regarding special requests or equipment concerns
  • Deliver outstanding service to members and guests

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in kitchen preparation or stewarding is preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required
