Position Overview: Tact Staff is seeking a dedicated travel nurse RN specializing in the Operating Room.

Role Description: This position is for an OR RN Charge. An additional compensation of $4.00 per hour is provided for Charge responsibilities. The typical shift is 3 days of 12 hours from 7:30 AM to 7:00 PM.
Patient Ratios: 1:1
Experience Requirements: A minimum of 2 years and 3 months of Charge experience is required. First-time travelers are welcome.
Weekend Requirements: As needed, typically every third weekend.
Certifications & Licenses: Candidates must possess an active, unrestricted Arizona RN License or a valid compact license. BLS and ACLS certifications are also required.
On-Call Requirements: No on-call duties are expected.
Floating Requirements: No floating to other units is required.
Scheduling: Blocked scheduling is available.
Local Candidates: Local applicants are accepted.
RTO Restrictions: Approval from the unit manager is required for any requested time off.
Guaranteed Hours: A minimum of 36 hours per week is guaranteed, with the facility having the option to call off staff up to 6 times during the 13-week assignment.
Special Requirements: Experience in a Level 1 trauma center OR is necessary, with a focus on high-volume orthopedic, trauma, and spine cases. Candidates should have experience in general, orthopedic, spine, trauma, and neuro procedures, particularly craniotomies. While Level I trauma experience is preferred, highly skilled clinicians with recent Level II trauma experience in similar or larger facilities may be considered.
Facility Highlights: This is a Short Term Acute Care facility, recognized as a Teaching Hospital and a Level I trauma center, with a total of 268 staffed beds. Scrubs are provided for OR RNs, and charting is done using Cerner. Free parking is available for all staff.
