The Community Van Operator is tasked with the secure and effective transportation of individuals to various locations, including appointments and activities. This role is vital in ensuring that members have access to necessary services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate the community van, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Ensure that all passengers wear seat belts at all times and maintain a smoke-free environment within the vehicle.
- Report any safety concerns regarding the vehicle or passengers promptly.
- Maintain knowledge of local mental health programs and associated service providers.
Qualifications:
Applicants should possess a High School Diploma or GED, along with a minimum of one year of experience working with individuals in community-based mental health settings. Required clearances include ACT 33/34 and FBI, as well as a valid driver's license and proof of insurance.
