Job Summary:

The Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Interventional Pulmonary team. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide competent and compassionate nursing care to patients undergoing interventional pulmonary procedures
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Manager and Patient Care Team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Administer moderate sedation and monitor patients during procedures
  • Conduct pre-procedure assessments and post-procedure recoveries
  • Participate in daily operational activities to ensure a safe and efficient patient care environment

Requirements:

  • Current Massachusetts licensure as a registered nurse
  • BSN required
  • 2-3 years ICU, critical care, ED, or procedural experience
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications
