About the Job

The Ultrasound Technician PRN position at Johnston-Willis Hospital offers a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of healthcare professionals who share your commitment to delivering compassionate care. As an Ultrasound Technician, you will be responsible for obtaining high-quality ultrasound images of patients, managing equipment, and rendering patient care in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain quality ultrasound images of patients using established scanning protocols and adjust as required
  • Manage all ultrasound equipment and recognize significant diagnostic information
  • Renders patient care in a professional and courteous manner
  • Assist radiology nurse or radiologist with administering medications, performing biopsies, and other types of patient care
