DMC Sinai-Grace Hospital, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a CT Scan Technologist, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our radiology department.


**Key Responsibilities:**


• Verify patient identity and review medical records to ensure exam appropriateness.


• Conduct thorough patient interviews to obtain medical history and assess risk factors.


• Explain procedures to patients, including potential side effects and risks, and provide post-care instructions.


• Operate imaging equipment, acquire images, and review results to ensure diagnostic quality.


• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and provide education to residents and new employees.


• Collaborate with radiologists to communicate data and respond to medical emergencies.


• Maintain a safe and efficient work environment, adhering to hospital policies and procedures.


**Requirements:**


• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.


• American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support - Healthcare Provider (BLS) training required.


• One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT).


**Skills and Qualifications:**


• Analytical and clinical skills to determine the most appropriate imaging method for patients.


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and hospital personnel.


• Technical knowledge to operate imaging equipment and computers.


• Ability to work productively in a complex environment, handle multiple priorities, and maintain a safe work environment.
