Job Summary

As an Orthopedic Nurse Specialist at the Medical University of South Carolina, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals with orthopedic conditions. Your expertise will include assessing patients, developing individualized care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions

  • Participate in shared governance and professional development opportunities

Requirements

  • Licensure as a registered nurse by the South Carolina Board of Nursing or Nursing License Compact
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • One year of nursing experience required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Experience working in an orthopedic setting
