Job Summary

Aveanna Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and skilled Private Duty Nurse LPN to provide high-quality care to a teenager patient in the St. Petersburg area.

Responsibilities
  • Implement a physician-prescribed plan of care for the patient.
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies as needed.
  • Document care provided in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management.
  • Accept and write verbal orders from physicians as required, and obtain co-signature from the Case Manager.
  • Follow up with the physician, client, family members, staff, and Case Manager on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition.
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered license (RN/LPN/LVN) in the state of practice.
  • Current CPR certification from the American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS.
  • TB skin test (current within the last 12 months).
  • Six months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred but not required.
  • Reliable transportation.
