Empathetic Family Support Specialist

About the Role:
">This position involves working with families and their children through home or virtual visitation to deliver Family Connections and/or Nurturing Parenting Curricula.
">As an Empathetic Family Support Specialist, you will provide individualized services to meet the unique needs of each family, following the model and curricula guidelines.
">You will maintain a caseload of 6-10 families, delivering weekly visits and completing data entry within established timeframes.
">Key Responsibilities:
">- Implement Family Connections (FC) model and Nurturing Parenting curriculum with fidelity and adherence to program and agency policies.
- Conduct virtual and home visits, maintaining a positive relationship with families and ensuring their convenience is respected.
- Complete documentation of visits within two business days, adhering to agency and program requirements.
- Maintain case records and data system in accordance with agency and program policies, procedures, and requirements.
- Initiate contact with referred families within 24 hours and actively engage them in the program.
- Travel to and from home visits, program trainings, and events using own vehicle and/or agency vehicle if available.
- Attend mandated virtual or in-person trainings, which may include out-of-state travel.
- Connect families to resources addressing their needs and maintain relationships with community agencies and partners.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities, such as File Review, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and clutter-free work environment, adhering to health and safety policies.
- Comply with all agency and program policies, including confidentiality, employee conduct, computer usage, and dress code.
- Meet performance and productivity standards, attending required agency and program meetings.
Requirements:
">- Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Family Studies, Early Childhood Education, or related field.
- Experience in home visitation, parenting, and child development, with knowledge of community resources.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills required, with ability to communicate effectively with diverse populations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and some weekends, as part of a team.
- Comply with all agency and program policies, including confidentiality, employee conduct, computer usage, and dress code.
Salary Range:
">The estimated salary for this position is $21.20-$21.95 per hour, reflecting the level of expertise and experience required.
