Mathematics Professor

Job Summary:

Jefferson Community and Technical College is seeking a full-time Mathematics Instructor to join our faculty. As a Mathematics Instructor, you will be responsible for teaching courses in Mathematics, including transitional/developmental mathematics through Calculus. Your duties will include maintaining office hours, engaging in student success and retention activities, and utilizing an online course LMS such as Blackboard for instruction, communication, and feedback.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach Mathematics courses, including transitional/developmental mathematics through Calculus
• Maintain office hours to support student success and retention
• Utilize an online course LMS such as Blackboard for instruction, communication, and feedback
• Engage in academic advising, course and curriculum development, internal and external community service, and educational leadership and professional development

Requirements:

• Master's degree in Mathematics or Master's degree in a related field with 18 graduate hours in Mathematics
• Teaching experience at the college level and online teaching experience preferred
• Completion of a Master's level Statistics course preferred
