Electrician I

We are seeking a skilled Electrician I to join our team at MasTec Communications Group. As an Electrician I, you will play a critical role in the development and execution of utility construction projects for various types of telecom projects.

• Read and interpret blueprints to estimate project requirements and costs.
• Manage electrical projects, including budget control, financial tracking, and reporting.
• Possess a working knowledge of the electrical industry, including new site build, modifications deployment, and implementation.
• Manage site acquisition, engineering, and construction projects in compliance with established processes and policies.
• Conduct risk management and contingency planning, negotiation of complex or sensitive issues.
• Enforce the MasTec Network Solutions quality program and ensure that appropriate safety guidelines are followed.
• Understand, train, and enforce the company quality program, processes, and standards.

• Valid driver's license and driving record meeting the company policy conditions.
• Availability to work weekends and/or nights, in extreme weather conditions if necessary, and be willing to travel extensively.
• Ability to work out of the market or away from home as work demands.
• Ability to lift and/or carry minimum of 15 lbs.
