ROLE SUMMARY
The Mixology Specialist is responsible for crafting and serving a variety of beverages to guests, adhering to established recipes and standards. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are in optimal condition. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing drink orders accurately and efficiently.
- Issuing and serving wine and champagne, ensuring proper presentation.
- Keeping the bar stocked with ice, glassware, and supplies.
- Transporting necessary items to the bar setup area.
- Washing and sanitizing glassware and utensils.
- Monitoring inventory levels and communicating replenishment needs.
- Processing various payment methods and managing cash transactions.
- Securing all alcoholic beverages and maintaining storage areas.
- Completing closing duties and ensuring the bar is ready for the next service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Adhere to all safety and security protocols, reporting any incidents or unsafe conditions to management. Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the confidentiality of proprietary information. Engage with guests in a courteous manner, anticipating their needs and providing exceptional service. Foster positive relationships with colleagues, contributing to a collaborative work environment. Ensure compliance with quality standards and expectations.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role preferred.
Supervisory Experience: Not required.
Licenses/Certifications: None required.
