Job Overview:
We are collaborating with a prominent organization that supports various sectors including Defense, Intelligence, and Civil space initiatives. We are in search of a skilled Assembly Technician to contribute to our client's operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electro-mechanical devices following engineering specifications, technical documentation, and training protocols.
  • Execute tasks based on written guidelines to ensure consistency and repeatability.
  • Conduct wiring harness and cable assembly, including performing continuity tests on final products.
  • Adhere to technical standards such as J-STD-001 and IPC/WHMA-A-620 to guarantee compliance of manufactured items.
  • Utilize small hand tools, calibrated instruments, soldering/desoldering tools, and meters effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed in accordance with best documentation practices.
  • Exhibit strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality output.
  • Follow established processes and procedures for the proper handling of materials.
  • Be open to undertaking additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred experience in electronics or cable assembly.
  • Familiarity with circuit board soldering and desoldering is advantageous.
  • Experience with masking, conformal coating, connector potting, component staking, or bonding is a plus.
  • Must demonstrate responsibility, self-motivation, and a strong work ethic.
  • Strong focus on detail and dedication to quality work.
  • Ability to work dependably within a team to achieve common objectives.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 lbs and remain standing or seated for extended periods.

Working Environment:
  • ESD production setting with potential exposure to machine noise; hearing protection may be necessary.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
