Job Summary:

Oracle is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator 2-IT to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and configure enterprise servers and cabling infrastructure
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on data center hardware and networking infrastructure
  • Rack and stack data center equipment, including servers, networking devices, and monitoring systems
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth handoffs and efficient operations
  • Document activities and ensure strict alignment to SOPs
  • Manage inventory processes, including receiving, tracking, and shipping data center equipment
  • Install, label, and repair fiber/copper/telecom cables and patch panel systems
  • Provide on-call emergency support and participate in training programs to stay up-to-date with new technologies

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT environment
  • Knowledge of server/storage/network hardware systems and components
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
