In this position, you will collaborate with a team to provide architecture, engineering, and implementation of local, Metro, and Wide Area Networks across a global government enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee project management, architecture development, system engineering, and execution of cloud connectivity solutions.
- Manage tasks as outlined by government directives.
- Lead medium to large-scale complex initiatives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, risk assessments, and issue tracking logs.
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics, providing recommendations for enhancements.
- Supervise the project team’s activities.
- Collect, evaluate, and communicate client requirements effectively.
- Prepare detailed reports and deliver presentations regarding project progress.
- Engage with commercial vendors for material quotations and procurement.
- Process purchase requisitions following government procurement protocols.
- Collaborate with Operations Teams to ensure smooth transition of production systems to operations and maintenance.
- A minimum of ten (10) years of experience (Senior Project Manager) or six (6) years of experience (Mid-level Project Manager) in the Information Technology sector is essential.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Five (5) years of additional IT experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.
- Proficiency in MS Project, Jira, and Confluence tools is required.
- PMP certification is advantageous.
- Active DOD TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph.
