Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team at the PPRH Main Hospital in Woodland Park, CO. As a member of our emergency department, you will provide top-of-scope practice in direct patient care, prioritizing wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. You will value a multidisciplinary team approach to achieve exceptional outcomes and contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. Direct care includes Emergency Department level of care up to and including level 1 trauma designation, adhering to BCEN's certification standards in evidence-based care models.

Requirements and Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you must have a Graduate degree from an accredited or state board of nursing-approved Registered/Professional Nursing program if less than three years' experience. You should hold a State license as a Registered Nurse (RN) and possess Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross CPR for the Professional Rescuer with a valid card in hand before the start date. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is preferred at the time of hire or within six months of hire, along with Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) or PALS Certification within six months if hired, and Trauma Nurse Core Course (TNCC) or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses (ATCN) within one year of hire.
